Southern Pecan Pie Waffles

‘Tis the season for baking. My mother is in love with pecans and pecan pies. I decided that I would surprise her with pecan pie waffles for her birthday back in November. It was such a hit, we did it again for my brother’s waffle bar birthday breakfast here.

My grandparents have a pecan tree in their yard, so during the holidays many of our desserts include pecans. Wait until you check out my red velvet cake recipe!
