Philly Cheese Steak Casserole

The one thing I love about this time of year is the amount of comfort food I usually end making. It never fails, December- March is when I create most of my recipes. The recipes themselves stem from boredom and my desire to create something new.

It was too cold outside for my taste so I figured at this point it was either cheese toast or I actually cook.

The children voted for cheese toast (figures), while I wanted to kill two birds with one stone. I needed to get lunch and dinner out of the way so I could continue to relax.

I wanted to try something different, but didn’t feel like making a trip to the store. I looked around the kitchen to see what I had. Luckily I had enough on hand to make a few different meals– that almost never happens! 

Steak pasta

Prep time 30 minutes 

Cook time 20 minutes 

Ingredients 

  • Butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Cilantro
  • Sliced steak (frozen) 
  • Bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • Green pepper
  • Onion 

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta
  2. Cook sliced steak
  3. Add brown sugar salt pepper
  4. Add green pepper onion
  5. Butter bottom of pan
  6. Combine in layers.
  7. Cook on 425

Let cool 5 minutes.
