Fun workouts to do with your dog this winter

If you plan on getting outdoor during these last few weeks of fall or even this winter remember to bring your pets! They’ve outdoors and need the exercises just as much as you do.

Whether your going fishing or for a hike in the woods, remember your pets would love to join in the fun.

Check out these exercises from PetMd.com

  • Morning Walk
  • Interval Walk
  • Dog Tag
  • Fetch Races
  • Dog Stairs
  • Fetch Tease
  • Squat Tease

Our dog is much older, while we try our best to keep him active, these days he prefers to stay inside and chill. If you have an older dog, that doesn’t really want to keep moving like he used to, try these indoor exercises that he will love doing.

You don’t need much to get your dog up and moving, finding old toys and clothes around the house will do the trick. Small activities to keep your pups brain stimulated can go a long way during the cold winter months when you can’t make outdoors for too long. Remember your pets are just like small children and need constantly physical activity to keep their muscles working. A few minutes a day is all that’s needed to keep your dog conditioned.
