Star Wars Jedi Training Full Body Workouts for Kids (and Adults!)

By now you know that we are huge Star Wars fans. It’s no secret we frequently watch the movies, so after a while, I decided we needed a fun way to enjoy the movie. Since the kids are always running around pretending to be Jedi’s, why not create a few Jedi Training workouts?

My son even created a special instructional video on how to be a Jedi on YouTube. Feel free to watch and comment! He would really appreciate it!

STAR WARS JEDI TRAINING FULL BODY WORKOUTS FOR KIDS

  • 20 Jumping Jack’s
  • 20 Wind Mills  (check out my YouTube video below)
  • 20 High Knees
  • 20 Standing Ab Twist
  • :20 Run in Place
  • 20 sit-ups
  • 20 scissor kicks

They love running around with their lightsabers. I figured there had to be a few great arm exercises to help with training.

Jedi, star wars, workouts, arm exercise, full body exercise

Jedi Arm Workouts for Kids

  • 15 big arm circles
  • 15 big arm circles reversed
  • 10 Triceps Dips
  • 10 Bicep Dips
  • 25 tight forward arm circles
  • 25 tight backward arm circles

My children are both 6 and 9 years old, so I adjusted each amount based on what they were able to do. Be sure to tailor this workout for your kids!

Want to try to workout while watching the movie? Try these below:

  • 5 pushups every time you see a lightsaber
  • 5 crunches Darth Vader says ‘dark side
  • 5 squats when Yoda says “Destiny”

My daughter always wants to jump in when I do my exercise but goes without saying that she can not catch up. I think I am going to try some of these exercises with her and do them with her too for a fun routine. 🙂
