Our dog is much older, while we try our best to keep him active, these days he prefers to stay inside and chill. If you have an older dog, that doesn’t really want to keep moving like he used to, try these indoor exercises that he will love doing.
You don’t need much to get your dog up and moving, finding old toys and clothes around the house will do the trick. Small activities to keep your pups brain stimulated can go a long way during the cold winter months when you can’t make outdoors for too long. Remember your pets are just like small children and need constantly physical activity to keep their muscles working. A few minutes a day is all that’s needed to keep your dog conditioned.
Our dog goes everywhere with us! Yes loves the outdoors just as much as we do, so I try to often include him in my workouts as well. It took a minute for me to think of “fun” workouts, because I don’t know if it could be considered fun for the dog necessarily.
Now that it’s summer, I’m careful not too spend too much time outside with him during the heat of the day, so we get a lot of pur exercises done first thing in the mornings.
