As a photographer, I spend most of my time doing various forms of squats and every other movement in order to get ‘the shot’ during weddings. Needless to say, I’ve built a pretty toned booty from all of this!! Because of the constant amount of walking and time on my feet, I began tailoring my summer workouts to help aide in better leg strength. Because of this, I’ve been working out my legs and booty a lot more.

Looking for workouts that will help tone and build that booty? Well, look no further!! Before we get started, let me tell you now there are better more effective ways to build that booty other than doing squats. So if squats aren’t your thing: congratulations this is not a squat post so you can keep reading! These three exercises for a toned booty are a perfect way to build muscle and lift that butt without overdoing it!

  • side kicks  50 per leg
  • plank knee tucks and glute extensions 50
  • donkey kicks 50 per leg

    Summer is just around the corner and it’s time to get my butt in gear, literally so I can get into that bikini. I’ll be trying these excercise tonight!

      They are pretty quick and simple. 10-20 minutes a day 3-4 times a week and within 3 weeks you’ll start to notice a difference.

    I was a catcher in high school and my booty never looked so good, lol. Squatting was definitely the reason. Nowadays, squatting isn’t so fun and I miss my firm booty so I’ll be trying these exercises for sure!

      I was hooked on squats for a while because it was the only thing people would tell me to do. Once I started researching I was able to figure out there are other more effective exercises that won’t ruin my knees! lol
